Care & Maintenance

Cleaning

Hand wash only - never submerge in water

To avoid bacteria, it’s important that you wash your cutting board immediately after use. Wipe the cutting board with hot soapy water, rinse it with hot water only and just wipe it dry with a clean dish towel. Store in a dry area.

Important:
1. Never submerge in water
2. Do not place in dishwasher or in a microwave

Care & Maintenance

Periodically (once every several weeks, depending upon the use and household conditions), apply an even coat of mineral oil to your board. apply with a rag, let is sit for at least 30 minutes, then wipe off. you can not oil a board too much.

If your board is getting really sliced up, sand the board with 220 grit sand paper. Once sanded make sure the surface is clean, then apply mineral oil (see above) at least 2 times. If you really want to seal it up then apply butchers wax—I use wood butter by the bearded chef - sold on amazon. follow instructions on tin.
